In a bizarre crossover event that breaks traditional expectations, Ubisoft has announced an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Mission Revealed

According to the authorized announcement, "A strange meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where rumors of banned rituals and fearsome transformations echo through the obscurity." The narrative features a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a hidden cult.

The adventure concentrates on "peculiar trials and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Changes

The teaser showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Rewards and Bonus Content

Players who accomplish the adventure will acquire an unique katana in addition to numerous objects hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
