Football Analyst Sutton Battles Singer Olly Murs in Top Flight Forecasts
Arsenal's 10-game winning streak was ended by Sunderland prior to the international hiatus, however can the English top division leaders bounce back against local foes Tottenham this weekend?
"{I believe like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a plan for this game," stated football specialist Chris Sutton.
"The Spurs manager will try to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling best this season - but Mikel Arteta's side usually still find a way to win."
Sutton is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League games this term, versus AI, readers and a variety of special visitors.
For week 12, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United fan.
The singer's latest record, the new release, is available on Friday.
Soccer and Family Life
Olly is a skilled soccer player as well as a accomplished artist and has been a featured player of multiple charity football games down the years - but he is not intending a professional return as a player.
"{I actually played in a benefit game the other evening for a mate of mine," he explained. "The team was losing 3-1 when I came off in the second half, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you want!
"I continue to love football, but I injured my knee a few years ago and it still isn't where I want it to be. I hope I could play more but the unpredictability of the sport means it's too dangerous for me in my profession to do it seriously again.
"Additionally I am forty-one now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am preparing for the moment that my child or son chooses to play instead."
The singer and his spouse Amelia Tank have a young family, Madison and Albert, and he is prepared to follow in his father's footsteps by taking on the role of their coach.
"I won't push football on our children but I've already told my wife that if they do get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will likely be managing their weekend soccer team," he said.
"I watched my relatives play a lot, and I really got into it, and I obviously was involved with a soccer team for a period too.
"My dad did it with us when I was a kid, which is probably where I inherited it. He managed our team for several seasons and had great fun with it. That could be the next step for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"
Top Division Predictions

- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
Chelsea may have to be patient for Cole Palmer's return from fitness issues but their attack is already more potent with Pedro and Liam Delap both back fit.
I still think this game will be quite close, though. Burnley are disciplined and their sole home losses so far have been against the Reds and the Gunners.
This suggests a 1-1 draw to me, but I am actually going to go with Chelsea to edge it for what would be their third consecutive Premier League win in a row.
Sutton's forecast: 1-2
The singer's prediction: The Blues will be too strong. 1-3
Artificial intelligence's outlook: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Bournemouth have been defeated in their previous couple games - albeit both of them were on the road - but they got thoroughly beaten by Villa last time out which shocked me.
In contrast, the Hammers won two in a row before the hiatus and, although both of those games were at their stadium, they appear competitive again.
West Ham's sole on the road victory this campaign came at Nottingham Forest in August, when West Ham boss Nuno Espirito Santo was previously that team's manager.
So, what on earth do I predict here - can the Hammers extending their streak under their manager, or Bournemouth bouncing back?
I am going to choose the Cherries, because I think what happened against Villa was a anomaly.
The pundit's forecast: 2-0
The guest's prediction: The home team are doing well but the visitors have picked up under their boss. 2-2
The algorithm's prediction: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Bees were seen as one of the favourites for relegation before the campaign started, but they have surprised a few people under their manager and are in good form with three in their last four matches.
A family member advised me to select Brentford forward Igor Thiago in my fantasy soccer squad a few weeks ago and, unfortunately, I didn't listen.
Thiago will probably score again on Saturday but I am nonetheless not going to select him or back the away side at Amex Stadium.
The Bees have not had great fortune on the travel this season, and the Seagulls are consistently strong at their stadium. The visitors will attempt to hit them on the counter-attack but I think the home manager's team pose much more of a danger.
Sutton's forecast: 2-1
Olly's prediction: It could be a match where you think there is going to be a many scores but it actually turns out to be rather tight. 1-1
The computer's outcome: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
It is a huge fixture for Fulham, who have lost five of their last six games.
They have have lots of talent in their squad but it still seems like they could be sucked into a drop zone fight.
As for Sunderland, well they are the surprise package of the Premier League season so far.
Their performance in the two-all draw with the Gunners last time out was superb. We've not witnessed any other team rough up the North London side like that this term, and Sunderland were fully competitive for them.
The logical choice would be to support the Black Cats here, because they are obviously able of disrupting Fulham up too and, the previous occasion they were in this part of London, they defeated Chelsea at the end of October.
However I am not going to do that. Instead, I truly need to continue opposing the away team with my forecasts. I am claiming a lot of credit for their good results because they clearly love to defy my predictions.
Considering Fulham's home form, the only side they have lost to is Arsenal. Their manager's team will be extremely eager for a positive result, so I am going to predict they will secure three points.
The expert's forecast: 1-0
Olly's choice: I know the visitors are doing well and additionally that the hosts are on a bad streak... but they have nonetheless been respectable at Craven Cottage this season. 2-0
AI's prediction: 2-0
- Anfield, 15:00 GMT
This is a tough one to call. The Reds have suffered seven of their last ten games in every tournament, but could they be one of the teams who profit from the {international break|
