Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy conducted a visit to meet with defense personnel in the Donetsk region on Tuesday. The president confirmed that he consulted warriors at the military base of the initial brigade of the state defense force Azov, which is leading defense efforts in the Dobropillya sector, a location approximately a short distance from the focal point.

Volatile Circumstances in the Region

Recent mapping from a Ukrainian project showed that opposition armies had advanced deeper into Pokrovsk and its environs, though a large portion lacked clear dominance by both forces. The situation remains critical, with accounts indicating that opposition troops were digging in and building up positions in some districts.

Invading troops continue to advance in the Pokrovsk direction and are reportedly acting with enhanced confidence within urban Pokrovsk.
